So I recently remodeled my studio and invited my little goddaughter for a mini session. She’s not very much into girly stuff but we thought it’d be different to dress her up a bit:). Alex, my model since 4 months old, totally got into the character. She was so fun to photograph. Here is one photo from the session.
On the first day of Spring, February 1st, I had the opportunity to photograph and celebrate the beginning of Spring. ArtWorks (Mark Smith – Community Artist) had been working with a number of acclaimed musicians and together had put a workshop with service users of Navan RehabCare with the aim of creating a new piece of music that will sum up the beginning of Spring — the new buds on the trees, the singing of the birds and the freshness of new growth in the air. This new arrangement of music will then be preformed in Solstice Arts Centre in Navan, Co.Meath.
I know we’re already halfway into January but let me say how difficult it was for me to get back into writing after this Xmas holiday. 2 weeks before Xmas was hectic!!!! with the 12 days of Christmas in November promotion I was up to my ears photographing, printing and delivering beautiful canvases. And even Xmas eve I drove around Ireland delivering canvases. Here are a few canvases that were printed as Xmas home display and gifts:)
The new year is even better. I have a variety of work from promotional to beautiful body art and even newborn and I’ve decided to put even more focus on newborn because it’s just such a beautiful area of photography. Those precious little fingers, feet, and small lips, are just breataking to look at, even when they’re not your own:)
